Job Summary
This role seeks a dedicated Geoinformatics Specialist to manage and process critical geodata for complex civil engineering and road construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include integrating official geobasis data, preparing detailed inventory and planning datasets, and managing the crucial interfaces between geodata systems and CAD/BIM environments. A key focus is the establishment and meticulous maintenance of digital utility line registers (Leitungskataster), ensuring strict adherence to industry standards like BFR Verm. and ETRS89/UTM. The specialist will also support digital construction processes, automate workflows, and provide technical consulting on GIS tools and data handling. The ideal candidate holds a completed degree in Geoinformatics, Geomatics, or a related field, possesses initial project experience, demonstrates high quality standards, and is a proactive, communicative team player eager to contribute to sustainable solutions.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Geoinformatics, Geomatics, or Geodata Management, or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Initial project experience in Geoinformatics, Geomatics, or Geodata Management.
- Professional experience in managing geodata for civil engineering and road construction projects.
- Experience ensuring compliance with geodetic standards (e.g., BFR Verm., RIZ-ING, ETRS89/UTM).
- Experience in managing CAD/BIM interfaces.
- Ability to take responsibility for project outcomes.
