Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Master Electrician to join the Building Technology and Facility Management team at the Fraunhofer IGCV in Augsburg, with occasional work in Garching. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing electrical maintenance and installation tasks for both general building operations and specialized scientific projects. Key daily activities include planning and organizing electrical work, performing installations (including control cabinet wiring), troubleshooting building systems (HVAC, building control technology, energy data management), and ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards (DGUV V3). The ideal candidate holds a Master Electrician qualification, possesses multi-year professional experience, and has strong knowledge of machine safety and automation technology. This position offers a varied and interesting role within a scientific, industry-focused, and creative environment, requiring structured work habits and a willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
