Calibration Technician | Kalibriertechniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This position calls for a dedicated Calibration Technician to ensure the professional and seamless execution of calibration procedures for proprietary systems at Schmitt Engineering in Nürnberg. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating critical technical documentation, such as calibration protocols, test reports, and certificates, while also maintaining and adapting existing calibration instructions. The technician will evaluate measurement results and contribute to defining necessary repair or modification measures. A core function involves independently planning and organizing all calibration activities, coordinating closely with production teams and external service providers. A significant part of the role is focused on the continuous improvement and optimization of calibration processes to meet the stringent requirements of the ISO 17025 standard. The ideal candidate must possess completed technical training (e.g., Electronics or Mechatronics) and practical experience in metrology or quality assurance. Strong German language skills (B2+) are a mandatory prerequisite for this challenging role.
