Job Summary

This role seeks a Technical Application Specialist to serve as the technical backbone for digital network processes within the utilities sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include the management, maintenance, and development of critical Grid Management Systems (Lovion, Geocall, and Argos), which are essential for digital operations ranging from fault handling and maintenance to asset management. You will operate at the intersection of technology and operations, translating complex business requirements into stable, standard-compliant technical solutions. A key focus is ensuring smooth system operation, conducting thorough testing, analyzing disruptions, and actively supporting the integration of new applications to shape the digital future of grid operations, including the Digital Grid Twin architecture. The ideal candidate possesses a degree or vocational training in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and several years of experience in supporting specialized IT applications. This position offers the chance to work on systems critical for the energy supply of over one million people, providing significant scope for defining technical standards and participating in advanced certifications and manufacturer training.
