Job Summary
Join Infineon's Connected Secure Systems (CSS) division in Graz as a Staff Engineer focusing on Digital Physical Design, contributing to the development of next-generation secure, high-performance SoCs. In this role, you will manage the full digital physical design flow, spanning from RTL to GDSII. Key responsibilities include driving complex Physical SoC Design aspects such as hierarchical floorplanning, placement, clock tree generation, routing, and power distribution to ensure efficient timing closure and successful sign-off. You will collaborate closely with layout experts across multi-site setups, support continuous methodology improvements, and optimize tool flows for enhanced productivity. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a strong background in SoC physical design who possess a collaborative mindset and a passion for driving innovation in scalable chip layouts.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in SoC Physical Design
- Professional experience in digital physical design flow (RTL to GDSII)
- Professional experience driving innovation and continuous improvement in physical design methodologies
