Job Summary

This role within the KPMG Shared Service Center involves supporting specialized departments across audit, tax, and consulting through technical development and administrative services. The successful candidate will be instrumental in analyzing and specifying requirements by collaborating closely with developers and business units. A core focus is on process optimization and automation to enhance efficiency and quality, utilizing modern technology stacks, including IDEs, Git for version control, and CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes. You will actively shape the technical roadmap, share best practices within a Community of Practice, and ensure application security by implementing relevant standards and guidelines. Key qualifications include a formal IT education, practical experience in Java software development, familiarity with agile methodologies, database handling, and specific frameworks like Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, or REST/gRPC. This position requires strong teamwork skills and excellent German proficiency.
