Job Summary

This permanent position as a Digitalization Officer for IT Specialist Procedures at the State Office for Mining, Geology, and Raw Materials (LBGR) is central to driving the agency's digital transformation. Day-to-day responsibilities include the conceptual design and practical implementation of all digitalization processes across mining, geology, energy, and general administration. Key tasks involve transitioning the organization to digital working methods, creating a new mining information system in conjunction with other states, coordinating diverse digitalization projects, and leading the development of the LBGR's IT strategy and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This role requires strong conceptual, strategic, and analytical skills, alongside proficiency in process management (BPMN 2.0). Uniquely, the position is explicitly open to recent graduates and Master's students in their final semester, offering a responsible, challenging role in a flexible, modern work environment in Cottbus.

Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific university degree (Master's level) in Business Informatics, Public Governance, Administrative Informatics, Informatics, Geoinformatics, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Suitable for recent graduates and final-semester Master's students
