Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Commissioning Technician focused on bringing complex electrotechnical systems and substations to the next level for various high-profile clients. Day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting rigorous testing, troubleshooting faults in sophisticated protection and control technology, and performing detailed programming and parameterization of protection devices for high- and medium-voltage grids. You will utilize modern testing technologies to commission digital systems and collaborate closely with project managers and planning teams to provide technical support for customer projects related to power transmission, distribution, and grid connection. Candidates must possess a completed education in Electrical Engineering, preferably supplemented by a State-certified Technician qualification or a relevant university degree, and several years of professional experience in the field. The position requires knowledge of switchgear commissioning and a willingness to travel extensively within Germany.
