Job Summary

This SCADA Engineer role supports critical system integration and commissioning projects, primarily focused on control technology for power transmission systems at Siemens Energy. Daily tasks center on the creation and maintenance of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) derived from specifications and manuals, alongside meticulous management of signal lists and the central control system database. The engineer is responsible for executing system integration and commissioning activities in test setups located in Erlangen and Forchheim, ensuring error-free component communication, and conducting necessary signal and acceptance tests with both internal teams and external customers/suppliers. To succeed, candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Computer Science, coupled with several years of professional SCADA experience. Mandatory skills include very good proficiency with WinCC OA and solid background in project execution within the energy transmission control sector, complemented by fluent English skills.
