Job Summary

This role requires an ambitious PLC Specialist to manage complex control technology challenges and drive automation projects forward for major clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include the development, testing, and documentation of PLC programs and user interfaces for automation systems. The specialist will be crucial in ensuring the technical execution of system commissioning and service work, particularly focusing on optimizing plant quality and cycle time, and adapting existing facilities for new product variants. A key component of the role involves the commissioning of specialized screwing and joining modules, coordinating Industry 4.0 initiatives, and providing critical PLC support during new product ramp-ups and process stabilization. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics (or an equivalent Master/Technician qualification). Essential requirements include very strong knowledge of PLC programming, visualization, bus systems, drive technology, and safety technology. Initial professional experience in the automation of assembly lines, special machine construction, and the automotive sector is highly desirable, coupled with a reliable and team-oriented work ethic.
