This role involves shaping the future of mobility by focusing on the integration and commissioning of components and systems within prototype and pre-series vehicles. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent commissioning of vehicles, performing crucial hardware and software updates, including flashing and coding, and executing comprehensive system tests and acceptance checks on the complete vehicle assembly. The technician is also responsible for meticulous documentation and presentation of their work results. Candidates must possess a strong background, ideally a completed apprenticeship as an Automotive Electrician, Mechanic, or Mechatronics Technician, supplemented by further training as an Automotive, Electrical, or Vehicle Technician. Success in this position requires multi-year professional experience, practical expertise with communication protocols like CAN/LIN/FlexRay, and proficiency in diagnostic tools.
