Job Summary

This role is designed for an ambitious Materials Testing Technician focused on ensuring product quality through rigorous material analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include the planning and execution of comprehensive materials tests to determine mechanical properties, material structure, and composition. Key tasks involve meticulous sample preparation, conducting various mechanical tests such as tensile, compression, bending, impact, and hardness profiling, along with spectral and metallographic examinations. The technician must accurately summarize the findings and generate formal test reports. Successful candidates must hold either a completed vocational qualification as a Materials Testing Technician or a degree in Materials Technology/Science. Proficiency in laboratory equipment operation and MS Office is essential, alongside good written and spoken English skills.
