Job Summary
This role is ideal for an ambitious engineer looking to advance technology by designing essential components for power electronics, specifically inverters and DCDC converters. The Sheet Metal Parts Designer will be responsible for the mechanical design of housings and various mechanical parts, alongside creating comprehensive manufacturing documentation. A key part of the role involves electrical project planning, including generating electrical schematics using E-CAD systems like EPLAN and developing electrical parts lists. Furthermore, the designer will be involved in the testing and initial commissioning of new components and supporting prototype testing. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, professional experience in electrical design for special machinery, and proficiency with 3D design tools, particularly SolidWorks, and E-CAD systems (EPLAN). Good English skills and a self-reliant, goal-oriented approach are essential for success in this challenging and rewarding environment.
