Job Summary

This role involves connecting people and technology to drive the next level of innovation, specifically focusing on complex development projects within the automotive industry for OEMs and suppliers. The Hardware Developer will be responsible for the adaptation, modification, and optimization of electronic components and systems for vehicle transmissions, including wiring harnesses, interconnection technology, PCBs, sensors, and actuators. Key daily tasks include planning series production introduction, commissioning and evaluating component and vehicle trials, and coordinating Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), often involving participation in meetings with international suppliers and customers. Candidates should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, possess good knowledge of electronic hardware development, and ideally have initial experience with software and function development. Proficiency in German and English is required, alongside familiarity with EDV systems, MS Office, and ideally SAP R/3 or a PLM system.
