Job Summary

This role involves the global commissioning and maintenance of complex measuring systems for a client in the Aachen area. Day-to-day responsibilities include the assembly of mechanical and electrical components, performing comprehensive hardware and software tests, and adjusting systems to ensure optimal functionality. A key part of the job requires traveling worldwide to customer sites to execute system commissioning, conduct necessary inspections, maintenance, and repairs, and prepare for machine acceptance tests. Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing essential training to operating and service personnel and updating technical documentation and instructions. Candidates must possess a completed technical qualification, ideally supplemented by further training as a Technician in Mechatronics or Electronics, coupled with professional experience in plant construction, particularly machine tool construction, and solid knowledge of automation technology. The position requires fluent English proficiency and a substantial willingness to travel internationally.
