Job Summary

This role provides an opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Mannheim on a temporary contract, focusing on the technical development and verification of diagnostic test systems. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the independent execution of technical activities, including variance and comparative analyses, batch evaluations, and the verification of system and assay performance. Daily tasks involve creating detailed test plans and work instructions, conducting experiments, performing statistical evaluations (using tools like JMP), and presenting results to the team. The position requires a completed technical education, such as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, coupled with extensive professional experience in system development within the chemical industry. Specific expertise in Point of Care (PoC) diagnostic measurement systems and immunochemistry is highly valued, alongside excellent German proficiency for documentation and communication.
