Job Summary

This part-time, fixed-term role, based at the Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen, focuses on the systematic promotion of digital competencies for students across all disciplines through the "DigitalKompetenzPlus" project. The Project Officer will be instrumental in integrating existing offers and newly developed educational formats into a cohesive overall concept, ensuring alignment with recognized competency models. Key responsibilities include reviewing and adapting existing course content, designing the curriculum for a comprehensive "Digital Competency" certificate, and actively conducting new interdisciplinary courses, often through co-teaching with partners. Success requires a completed Master’s degree (preferably in a technical field like Computer Science or Data Science) and proven experience in conceptualizing, executing, and evaluating both online and in-person educational events. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse university stakeholders.
