This role is for a Software Support Specialist joining a successful ERP software developer focused on the financial services sector, serving banks and financing institutes in the DACH region. The specialist will work closely with software development and project management teams, focusing heavily on quality assurance and customer support. Key responsibilities include defining and executing standardized and automated test cases (e.g., interface, usability, and performance tests) for new software features, patches, and releases. You will analyze customer feedback, generate reports, and derive optimization measures for quality management processes. A core function involves providing remote and direct software support, including comprehensive error analysis and resolution. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or a related field and has initial practical experience with database checks, log file interpretation, and troubleshooting within the IT environment of a financial service provider or software manufacturer. This position offers flexible working hours and home office options.

Required Skills

Education

Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Economics, or a comparable qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for Application Development)

Experience

  • First practical experience checking databases and log files
