Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Network Specialist based in Munich, focusing on the operation, optimization, and development of complex network and IT security environments for clients of a reputable mid-sized IT service provider. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical support for operational network and security infrastructures, enhancing existing systems, and leading projects covering configuration and commissioning of new setups. A key aspect involves designing, configuring, and deploying complex network and security infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Firewalls. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification (e.g., IT System Electronics Technician), strong knowledge of switching, routing, and network protocols, and proficiency in German and English.
