Job Summary
This role seeks a dedicated Civil Engineer specializing in Bridge Construction to manage the full lifecycle of public infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, tendering, awarding, and overseeing the construction, reinforcement, and maintenance of various bridge structures. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with contractors, specialized planners, and public authorities, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards, deadlines, and budget controls. A key component of the role involves organizing structural inspections according to DIN 1076, evaluating reports, and implementing necessary preservation measures. Candidates must possess a university degree in Civil Engineering, proven experience in public project execution, and strong knowledge of critical German regulations like HOAI, VOB, and ZTV-ING. The position offers a permanent contract, flexible working hours, and opportunities for mobile work, focusing on independent and responsible project execution.
Required Skills
Education
University Degree (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Structural Engineering or Transportation Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in the project execution of public construction measures
- Knowledge of relevant German regulations (DIN 1076, HOAI, VOB, ZTV-ING)
- Experience in coordinating engineering and construction services across all phases of HOAI
