QA Laboratory Shift Leader | Chemielaborant (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves leading the Quality Assurance (QA) laboratory operations during assigned shifts (early, late, and potentially night), ensuring the timely and accurate quality control of incoming raw materials and finished products. The Shift Leader is responsible for delegating tasks, managing team members, and coordinating effectively with the opposing shift leader and other departments like Production and Logistics. A critical function is acting as a deputy for the Head of QA in key decisions, such as resolving faulty batches and finalizing doctoring processes. Candidates must possess a background as a Certified Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) or Chemical Laboratory Technician, coupled with extensive professional experience and deep knowledge of polymer chemistry, rheology, and formulation know-how. Success in this position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to implementing process improvements to ensure customers receive specification-compliant products on schedule.
