Job Summary

This full-time position in Düsseldorf offers the opportunity to join the Quality Control team of Dynavax GmbH, a specialized biotechnology company focused on vaccine development and production. The QC Technical Assistant will primarily work within the Microbiology & Monitoring team, executing crucial environmental monitoring tasks in cleanrooms, including surface and air sampling. Key daily responsibilities involve sampling and verification of water and compressed air systems, conducting general laboratory duties, and assisting in the microbiological lab with filtration, plating, and sample evaluation. A core component of the role is meticulous documentation using electronic data management systems (GDP) and maintaining analytical equipment according to strict cGMP standards. Candidates require relevant vocational training in natural sciences (e.g., Chemistry, Pharmacy) and at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environmental monitoring. Strong communication skills and fluent German are mandatory for success in this interdisciplinary role, supporting deviation investigations and CAPA implementations.
