Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Metrology Technician in the aerospace sector, partnering with major manufacturers like Airbus in Hamburg. The core responsibilities involve planning and executing precise geometric measurements on critical aerospace components, structures, production facilities, and fixtures. Day-to-day tasks include operating modern Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), laser, and scanning systems, preparing 3D CAD models, programming measurement control sequences, and conducting thorough data analysis. You will be responsible for identifying error causes, implementing corrective measures, and coordinating technical documentation with design teams. The ideal candidate holds a degree or advanced qualification in Engineering, Mechatronics, or Surveying Technology, coupled with several years of practical experience in metrology, production, and quality management. This position offers a permanent contract, competitive Equal Pay, a 35-hour work week, and the significant potential for permanent employment takeover by the client.
