Job Summary

This role is critical for safeguarding the IT infrastructure of Böttcher AG, a leading German e-commerce and logistics firm. The specialist will be responsible for the full spectrum of security management, including the analysis, planning, and implementation of robust security strategies across the organization. Day-to-day duties involve continuous monitoring, detection, and evaluation of security incidents, followed by initiating appropriate countermeasures. A key focus is conducting penetration tests, vulnerability analyses, and managing core security systems such as Firewalls, Endpoint Protection, SIEM, and IDS/IPS solutions. The position also requires the creation and maintenance of IT security policies, emergency plans, and ensuring compliance with standards like ISO 27001 and GDPR. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, several years of professional IT security experience, and fluent proficiency in both German and English to effectively communicate complex technical matters and conduct employee training.
