Job Summary

This role seeks an Embedded Firmware Developer specialized in C programming for 16- and 32-bit controllers, focusing on developing extreme low-power IoT solutions with battery lifespans up to 15 years. The core responsibilities involve the full product lifecycle, from commissioning internally developed hardware and implementing complex measurement and communication functions to preparing devices for production. A critical aspect is enabling remote meter reading using cutting-edge radio technologies like LoRaWAN, wireless M-Bus, NB-IoT, and Bluetooth LE. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Communications Engineering and robust knowledge of C programming for embedded systems, ideally supplemented by C# and .NET familiarity. Success requires conceptual thinking, systematic troubleshooting skills, and an interest in system design and software engineering.
