Job Summary

This role is centered on developing and implementing SCADA visualization software specifically for pharmaceutical production lines. The developer will be integral to the project team, ensuring successful software realization and acting as the main contact person for international clients within their area of responsibility. Day-to-day tasks involve developing SCADA visualization systems, installing necessary computer and network infrastructure, and commissioning systems. A critical component of the job is conducting rigorous testing both in-house and on-site at pharmaceutical customer locations, documenting all results, and performing remote or on-site analysis and troubleshooting of system malfunctions. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Technical Informatics, or is an experienced technician with substantial professional experience in machine or special machine construction. Essential qualifications include expertise in programming visualization systems, particularly Siemens WinCC and/or Rockwell Factory Talk, coupled with strong German and English communication skills to handle international client interactions and required business travel.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Technical Informatics; alternatively, experienced Technician with long-term professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in machine or special machine construction (required for experienced technicians)
  • Experience in developing SCADA visualization software for production lines
  • Experience in commissioning and testing SCADA visualization systems
  • Experience serving as a primary contact for international customers
