Job Summary

This role is for a Chemical Laboratory Technician specializing in Wet Chemistry, joining the Thüringer Umweltinstitut team in Krauthausen. The position focuses on the preparation and analysis of environmental samples, utilizing established wet chemical and photometric methods such as Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5) determination, and analysis via Continuous Flow Analyzer (CFA) and photometer. A key responsibility is maintaining laboratory quality through monitoring testing equipment and implementing quality assurance measures, alongside general daily lab routines. Candidates should possess completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant) or Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), or a comparable scientific qualification (e.g., UTA, PTA).
