Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive management, administration, and continuous development of the existing in-house Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. The specialist will be responsible for implementing new EDI interfaces with customers, suppliers, and service providers, utilizing various communication channels (OFTP, AS2, FTP) and standards (EDIFACT, ODETTE, VDA, ANSI, XML). A core part of the job includes analyzing, conceptualizing, and executing EDI projects in close collaboration with internal departments and external partners, alongside monitoring processes, troubleshooting errors, and documenting interfaces and data flows. The ideal candidate possesses a degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, professional EDI experience, strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols, and familiarity with mapping tools, middleware (Softzoll EDIBUS preferred), and ERP system integration (Abas-ERP preferred).
