Job Summary

This role involves administering and technically supporting the essential IT infrastructure and cloud services for the Hamburg University of Technology (TU Hamburg). The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of core cloud applications, including M365, Teams, and Exchange, ensuring seamless operation for research and teaching. Key duties also encompass the administration of the Softphone telephony system (based on DFN Fernsprechen) and maintaining the Citrix environment for centralized application delivery. Furthermore, the engineer will actively participate in various IT projects within the data center. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a MINT field. Prior experience in administering cloud-based applications, telephony solutions, and specialized applications, ideally within a higher education setting, is highly beneficial.
