The Junior Airspace Surveillance Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing current and future airspace surveillance systems for the Swiss Army. Key responsibilities include ensuring operational stability and safety by applying deep technical knowledge, developing innovative solutions, and providing expert consultation to internal clients by analyzing malfunctions and proposing remedies. You will also represent the operations team throughout various project phases. Required Skills
Education
Higher Technical School Degree (ES/ET) in IT, Telematics, or Electronics, or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT (if educational background is equivalent)
- Experience in air traffic control (Preferred)
- Experience in VoIP or HF radio communication (Preferred)
- Availability for on-call service
