Job Summary

This role is for a proactive Cyber Security Expert responsible for fortifying the company's digital infrastructure against current and future threats. The successful candidate will evaluate and implement security tools and solutions, focusing heavily on SIEM technologies like Microsoft Sentinel, and integrate them with operational tools such as ServiceNow. Day-to-day responsibilities include continuous monitoring of the security landscape, conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits, and leading incident response efforts. A key aspect of the job involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to embed security practices into development and operational processes. The expert will also manage and coordinate with external Managed Detection & Response (MDR) service providers to ensure robust, 24/7 security monitoring. Candidates must hold a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, possess several years of IT security experience, and demonstrate strong communication skills in both German and English to effectively advise project teams and stakeholders.
