Job Summary

This role involves shaping the future of electrical infrastructure by developing strategic, long-term grid planning concepts for 110-kV, 10-kV, and 0.4-kV power grids. The engineer will be responsible for designing the network topology, ensuring the grid is technically available and compliant with regulatory requirements for the energy transition and increasing e-mobility demands. Key day-to-day tasks include continuous analysis and evaluation of the network based on grid models, creating and updating these models using simulation and grid calculation software, and deriving necessary measures for efficiency and digital transformation. Furthermore, the role involves strategically planning the data network connectivity (DFÜ, fiber optics, 4G/LTE/450-MHz) for operational assets like substations and pumping stations, contributing vital technical and commercial metrics for decision-making. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering and is eager to develop innovative concepts for the energy world of tomorrow.
