Job Summary

This role involves leading and managing the team of laboratory engineers across all Engineering and IT sectors within an academic institution. The core responsibilities include the technical and organizational maintenance of the entire lab infrastructure, ensuring strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards, and managing organizational frameworks, including budget, personnel, and procurement for all Eng&IT laboratories. A significant part of the position involves academic duties, requiring the incumbent to teach Engineering subjects (10 academic hours per semester), conduct lab exercises, and supervise Bachelor's and Master's practical work and theses. Candidates should possess a completed technical education, ideally in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with practical experience in laboratory and experimental technology. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in German (Fluent) and English (Intermediate) to effectively collaborate with the Dean, program directors, students, and external partners like start-ups.
