Job Summary

This pivotal role as Lead Data and Business Intelligence involves establishing and scaling a comprehensive, company-wide Data & BI department, encompassing Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, and Data Science capabilities. Reporting to the Director IT & Data, you will lead an agile team, focusing on empowerment, while defining and implementing the target data architecture, primarily utilizing modern cloud stacks like Microsoft Fabric or AWS (S3, Redshift, Synapse). A core responsibility is establishing robust Data Governance and Data Mesh principles, ensuring compliance with standards like GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOX. Day-to-day tasks include defining KPI frameworks, enabling Self-Service BI (Power BI), driving Advanced Analytics use cases (Forecasting, MLOps), and managing budgets and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate brings proven leadership experience in enterprise data environments and deep technical expertise in cloud platforms, SQL, and Python, coupled with strong communication and storytelling abilities to drive data-informed decisions across the organization.
