Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Tax Consultant to join a growing team in Cologne, actively contributing to the development and shaping of the local office. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing annual financial statements for companies of all legal forms and drafting complex tax returns across various tax types. The consultant will be responsible for independently managing correspondence with clients and handling ongoing tax matters for a demanding client base. Furthermore, the role involves supporting the team in resolving complex tax issues, including international matters, and assisting with diverse projects such as Tax Due Diligence. The ideal candidate will have a background as a Tax Specialist or a university degree in Business Administration focusing on Tax, Auditing, Accounting, Controlling, or Law, coupled with initial practical experience in financial services or tax consulting. This position requires high self-reliance, client orientation, and strong communication skills.
