Job Summary

This role as a Product Development Laboratory Technician offers crucial support to the Research and Development team within an internationally operating company in the food and chemical industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include meticulous handling and documentation of raw materials, intermediate, and final products. You will be responsible for recording specifications, managing customer samples, and ensuring high-quality standards through qualified controls, including monitoring expiry dates and safely handling laboratory chemicals. A key function is the independent documentation and technical release or blocking of materials in the production chain, requiring a high degree of responsibility and quality awareness. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or equivalent technical assistant (CTA, BTA, PTA, MTA). Success in this position requires a structured approach, dedication, and a highly developed sense of smell necessary for qualified final product inspection.
