Job Summary

This IT System Engineer role is critical for supporting the digitization and operational readiness of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Based in Rheinbach, the engineer will manage high-security military IT services, including those classified higher than VS-NfD. Daily tasks involve the comprehensive monitoring and maintenance of deployed server systems, ensuring the execution of operational tasks, and actively working towards operational stabilization and optimization. A core responsibility is the quality-assured transfer of developed solutions into the production environment, requiring close coordination with architecture and product teams. Candidates must possess a completed IT degree or vocational training, approximately three years of relevant professional experience, and strong technical expertise in Active Directory, Windows Server 2016, Firewall, Storage, and Network Topology.
