Job Summary

This System Engineer role serves as the critical technical interface between clients and the development team, primarily focusing on complex systems within the mechanical engineering sector. Key daily activities include rigorous Requirements Engineering, such as reviewing high-level specifications (Lastenheft) and translating them into detailed functional specifications (Pflichtenheft) at the system level, ensuring adherence to all relevant guidelines and standards. The engineer will be responsible for technically defining, evaluating, and designing system concepts and architectures, and coordinating requirements with development partners and suppliers. Furthermore, the role involves preparing, executing, and documenting internal and external system testing, environmental tests, and performance measurements. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, professional experience in designing complex systems, and proficiency with requirements management tools like DOORS. The position requires fluent German and English, strong strategic thinking, and offers the chance to actively shape technology projects for major clients.
