Job Summary

This role is for an Automation Engineer specializing in special machine construction for a market leader in automated assembly and testing of photonic and optoelectronic components near Bremen. The core responsibility involves the full lifecycle of customer-specific machine applications: developing and implementing solutions using proprietary software, managing the subsequent commissioning at the client site, and serving as the primary technical contact during installation. You will actively collaborate with customers to develop ideas for process optimization and ensure all required specifications are met. Candidates must have a Technician qualification or university degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field, coupled with initial professional experience in special machine construction. Required technical knowledge includes Control Engineering and user proficiency in tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Visual Basic.
