Job Summary

This role is centered within Quality Management, focusing specifically on metrology for a prominent service provider supporting automotive OEMs and suppliers. The Metrology Technician's daily responsibilities include ensuring the suitability of measurement devices, overseeing calibration procedures, and managing the setup and alignment of measurement objects. A core function involves preparing, executing, and evaluating measurement orders for various stages of car body assembly. The technician will conduct detailed measurement system analyses and machine capability studies, utilizing database software like PiWeb (Zeiss) for result evaluation and documentation. This position requires a strong technical background, ideally professional experience in 3D measurement technology within the automotive sector, and familiarity with CNC-guided measurement machines. The successful candidate will contribute to cross-functional projects and must be willing to work shifts, offering the opportunity to advance technology with high planning security through an unlimited employment contract.
