Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for developing, executing, implementing, and monitoring Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, specifications, and strategies. The EHS Manager will ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines, ordinances, and regulations, working closely with EHS sparring partners to provide expert advice. Key daily tasks include tracking preventative safety measures, investigating incidents, proposing solutions, and implementing best practices. The role also requires managing internal communication regarding accidents, creating risk assessments, and supporting the execution of EHS audits and internal reviews. Candidates must possess an engineering degree or equivalent EHS expertise, multi-year professional experience in the field, and strong knowledge of legal requirements, process management, and occupational safety. Fluency in German and English is required for effective communication.
