Job Summary

This role involves the technical and organizational leadership of an analytical laboratory focused on Quality Control (QC) for active ingredient production within the pharmaceutical and life science sectors. The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for developing robust commercial formulations, integrating effective equipment, and conducting method development and analytical characterization of active ingredients. Key tasks include creating testing documents and plans in compliance with GMP regulations, overseeing validation and qualification activities, and managing change control and deviation processes. The ideal candidate must possess a PhD or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or Biochemistry), coupled with professional experience in drug development and strong analytical and quality control knowledge. Leadership experience, project management skills, and fluency in both German and English are essential for success in this challenging and critical position.
