Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Development Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering, focusing on cutting-edge technologies within the aerospace industry. The professional will primarily support the Spacecraft Harness work package across phases BCD of space programs, ensuring the delivery of necessary hardware, models, and documentation. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing customer and mission requirements, defining functional and physical electrical wiring, and creating harness specifications for manufacturers. Key activities also involve co-engineering with harness suppliers, tracking design activities, and performing crucial analyses such as voltage drop, cable/connector derating, and mass estimation. Candidates must hold a relevant degree (Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering) and possess professional experience in developing and manufacturing electrical interfaces and harnesses, coupled with fluent German and English skills.
