Job Summary
This role involves developing innovative sensor concepts for capturing critical system parameters like pressure, temperature, voltage, and current within switchgear. The Development Engineer will be responsible for the conception and integration of sensors, establishing interfaces to higher-level assemblies (RTUs), and developing control concepts for motors in switchgear. A key part of the job is planning and implementing comprehensive test concepts to validate functional limits, electrically recording various system states, and forwarding measurement variables to superior systems. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Measurement Technology, or a related field, possesses solid expertise in sensor technology, signal processing, and medium voltage technology, and is proficient in German and English. Experience with agile development, cloud/data analysis technologies, and simulation tools is highly desirable.

Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Measurement Technology, Digital Technology, or a comparable field of study
Experience
- Professional experience in sensor technology and measurement engineering
- Experience with agile development methods (Desirable)
- Knowledge in using LTSpice, PSpice, MATLAB/SIMULINK, C, C++, Siemens NX, and MS Teamcenter (Advantageous)
