Job Summary

This role as an Automotive Hardware Engineer involves taking responsibility for complex development projects within the automotive sector, focusing heavily on hardware design, testing, and functional safety. Day-to-day tasks include planning, coordinating, and executing comprehensive validation tests, as well as developing and implementing testing concepts in collaboration with adjacent engineering departments. A key responsibility is the creation of hardware circuitry and layout designs that adhere to strict internal guidelines and customer specifications. Furthermore, the engineer will be responsible for creating and assessing requirement specifications, participating actively in Design and System FMEAs, and conducting necessary risk analyses and calculations. Candidates should possess a completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, coupled with essential expertise in Requirements Management, Test Management, and Functional Safety principles. Prior experience in the automotive hardware development and testing environment is highly advantageous, positioning the successful candidate to drive technology forward for leading OEMs and suppliers.
