Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer to connect people and technology by ensuring safe and sustainable electrical solutions for complex modular machinery. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining electrical requirements, selecting critical components for power, control, distribution, and safety systems, and managing the production introduction of new electrical assemblies in collaboration with the Operations team. A key part of the job involves utilizing Solid Works Electrical and Siemens Teamcenter for data creation and management, interpreting international standards like IEC/UL61010, and supporting safety and EMC testing. The successful candidate will also manage internal and external electrical technicians and represent the Mechatronics department in cross-functional project teams across different business units. To excel, you must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, or Computer Science, coupled with a minimum of three years of professional experience. Fluency in both German and English, strong assertiveness, and a hands-on mentality are essential for navigating this challenging and rewarding environment.
