This role is ideal for an ambitious Automation Engineer or PLC Programmer eager to connect technology and people by developing cutting-edge automation solutions for machines and industrial production facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include programming and commissioning automation systems, developing control concepts, and creating detailed functional descriptions. You will be responsible for defining interfaces, developing machine-specific control and safety software, and designing user interfaces. A critical part of the job involves conducting simulations, system tests, and performing internal and customer-site commissioning, including process trials and system startup support. The ideal candidate holds a degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology and possesses practical experience programming PLC systems, specifically using Simatic S7 and TIA. Success in this role requires conceptual thinking, strong customer orientation, and excellent interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
