Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Automation Technician looking to advance technology solutions for various clients, specializing in building automation systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include the commissioning, maintenance, servicing, and modernization of existing automation infrastructure. The technician will also be heavily involved in planning and conceptualizing new commissioning projects, providing technical support to project management, and resolving technical queries with both customers and suppliers. Key qualifications include a background in electrical engineering (e.g., Master Electrician or Electrical Technician qualification) or relevant vocational training in electrical, supply, or measurement and control technology. Experience in control cabinet construction and HVAC technology is beneficial, along with proficiency in PC-based development of control programs. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to undertake occasional field assignments.
