Job Summary

This role involves driving the next generation of electric mobility by focusing on the development and optimization of high-voltage (HV) technologies for a major automotive OEM, BMW. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and refining critical HV components such as batteries, chargers, inverters, and electric drives. The engineer will be responsible for integrating these complex HV systems into the overall vehicle architecture, ensuring compliance with stringent requirements for safety, performance, and efficiency. Key activities involve conducting detailed simulations and calculations to guarantee system stability, planning and executing rigorous tests under real-world conditions for validation, and performing thorough fault analysis to continuously improve system performance. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Vehicle Technology, coupled with practical experience in HV system development, ideally within the automotive or energy sectors. Proficiency in simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this challenging role.
