Job Summary

This role involves leading the Natural Climate Protection (ANK) Regional Office in Saxony, focusing on implementing the federal ANK program. The successful candidate will be the primary contact for natural climate protection in Saxony, responsible for networking stakeholders, analyzing framework conditions, and initiating land-based measures with synergy for nature and climate protection. Key responsibilities include cooperating with the federal Competence Center for Natural Climate Protection and contributing to relevant planning documents. This position requires a strong background in environmental sciences, project management, and public relations, along with excellent communication and analytical skills. It offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to climate and nature conservation efforts within a structured, supportive team environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diplom/Master) in Biology, Nature Conservation, Landscape Management, Agriculture, Forestry, Landscape Planning, Geosciences, or a comparable field. For university of applied sciences degrees, only accredited Master's programs are accepted.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management
  • Applied knowledge and experience in public relations
  • Knowledge and experience in the synergies of nature and climate protection
  • Knowledge and experience in nature conservation and landscape management (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of European nature conservation directives and restoration regulations (advantageous)
